Here is such a lovely antique pink topaz and diamond pendant by Jay's London in its original box that looks divine and has all the charm and character of a time gone by.
So finely made in the late 1800's, it was made in 18ct yellow gold and silver. This combination was common as it was known that if diamonds are set into yellow gold, this will reflect yellow into the diamonds and as white gold was not invented until the early 1900's and although platinum was invented earlier, it too was not used in jewellery until the 1900's.
Set in the most charming design that will captivate you and all who see it around your neck, the pendant is set with 79 rose cut diamonds that accentuate not only the pink topaz in the centre and below, but the design as a whole.
And then there are the pink topaz stones that really stand out so well thanks to the wonderful soft pink that just seem to glow from within. The use of pink really adds that extra charm to an already incredible antique pendant.
Measuring 6.1cm from the top to the bottom by 2.7cm wide, this pendant also has the added beauty of being in its original velvet lined box made and retailed by Jays jewellers in London, a company that was established in 1796. The pendant fits perfectly into the box and adds that something extra to the pendant as a whole.
A very charming and elegant late Victorian antique pink topaz and diamond pendant for that special person to wear and be complimented on.
