Antique rose gold Albert chain made in 1912
$0.00
Albert or fob watch chains as they are also known as, were originally designed for a gentleman to hold a pocket watch at one end and the key to wind it at the other with the tee bar connected to the waistcoat such as with cufflinks. Years later when men stopped using pocket watches and started to wear wrist watches, women years later started to wear these around their neck where they are quite often seen today and here is a lovely antique rose gold Albert chain made in 1912 that is in wonderful condition.
Measuring a comfortable 42.5cm laid out from end to end, each link is individually stamped and measures 6.3mm wide and the links are all in such wonderful condition and can so easily be worn on a daily basis.
The colour from the 9ct rose gold is just perfect and has such a lovely warmth colour to it that looks so beautiful day or night.
A lovely antique Albert chain that is in perfect condition and combined with the rose gold is destined to always be loved.
