Antique ruby and diamond bangle made in 1896

Remarkable to think that this gorgeous ruby and diamond bangle was made well over 100 years ago and not only still looks fabulous, but can so easily be worn every day.

Made in Birmingham in 1896, the bangle was made in 9ct rose gold. In recent years there has been a resurgence in popularity in rose gold thanks to its wonderful warm colour to it.

Too often, modern rose gold has a very brassy or coppery tone to it, unlike the gorgeous colour seen here and combine this with the rubies and diamonds and you really have a winning combination.

The two rubies total 0.20 carats and the three diamonds 0.18 carats and the diamonds are set in a wonderful star pattern and the rubies in a square pattern.

With such lovely twist work on the sides and at each end, this really is such an elegant antique bangle that will always be admired.

At the top of the bangle this distance measures 8.4mm wide and being hinged allows this to sit nice and close to the wrist and make it even more comfortable to wear all the time.

For any occasion, this antique ruby and diamond bangle is just perfect and will certainly always be admired, cherished and loved.
