Antique ruby and diamond ring dating from the early 1900’s
$0.00
Perfect for any finger and occasion, this antique ruby and diamond ring dating from the early 1900’s sits perfectly on the finger and is so comfortable and practical to wear all the time.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold, the ring is set with two rubies and a diamond in the centre. Set into the band, this is often called a gypsy setting and was a popular setting technique of the era that not only gives the ring a wonderful feature, but also protects the stones making this a very practical and durable ring to put on and wear all the time.
The rubies total 0.32 carats and the diamond 0.04 carats and the ring measures 6.6mm wide at the centre and tapers down to 1.7mm wide at the back.
With lovely detail on the side of the ring as well as the detail in the setting of the rubies and diamond, this is a lovely example of an antique ring that can be put on and left on in the morning and well into the night and always suit the occasion.
