Antique ruby and diamond ring made in 1899 in 18 carat gold

This beautiful antique ruby and diamond ring will so easily suit any finger including making a wonderful engagement ring, and regardless of the finger or occasion that it is bought for, there is no doubt that it will always be loved and admired.

Made in 18 carat yellow gold in Birmingham in 1899, the ring is set with three amazing natural rubies that have such a fantastic colour that stands out so well from near or far. These rubies come together to total 0.68 carats and on each side there are two European cut diamonds that total 0.16 carats and add the perfect amount of sparkle to it.

Measuring 6.5mm wide in the centre by 16.3mm across, on the side of each band is the most charming hand engraved scroll work that adds to the character of the ring.

With both the rubies and the diamonds sitting low into the setting, this is such a comfortable and easy ring to wear all the time where it will always get the admiration that it rightly deserves.
