The designs that can be found in many antique rings are just so unique and beautiful, and this can be seen here in this lovely antique ruby and diamond ring made in 1902.
Made in the Edwardian era, it retains a look of the earlier Victorian era jewellery of the late 1800's and over 100 years later still looks absolutely stunning.
The way the three natural rubies are set to maximise light really show off their natural beautiful red colour which is of course then highlighted by the diamonds. The rubies total 0.48 carats and then there are the five rose cut diamonds set on each side to add the right amount of sparkle, and these total 0.05 carats.
At the centre of the ring, this part measures 8.4mm wide by 13mm from left to right and sits so well on the finger thanks to the way the band is lovely and rounded and tapers down towards the back.
Antique rings always seem to have that something special and unique about them, and this ruby and diamond ring is no exception.
