Antique ruby and diamond ring made in the 1890’s

It is often the design of an antique ring that is just as exciting as the gemstones themselves, and this is evident in this lovely antique ruby and diamond ring that has not only such beautiful and vibrant rubies and diamonds, but also such a beautiful design.

Dating from the late Victorian era of the 1890’s, the ring was made in 18 carat yellow gold and is set with three incredibly bright natural rubies that total 0.24 carats. The rubies are all so well matched in colour and all display such a vibrancy that will make them get noticed from near or far.

Highlighted with a European cut diamond on each side of the centre ruby, these diamonds total 0.10 carats and add the right amount of sparkle to the ring.

Measuring 8mm wide by 15.1mm across, the way the ring was made with a lovely twist design on each side is further complimented by the double design of the band.

This ring is truly as beautiful and stylish today as when it was made over 130 years ago, and will always look divine on the finger.
