Here is a fabulous antique ruby and pearl brooch made by the early Australian jeweller Duggin Shappere & Co in the early 1900’s.
Made in 15 carat gold, the brooch measures 42.9mm across by 14.2mm and is set with a beautiful pearl set heart surrounding a natural ruby.
With pearls set at each end in a lovely floral design that along with the heart truly captures the eye.
Displaying such a lovely sentiment with the heart, this is a brooch that will always be loved and admired.
