Antique ruby and pearl locket

Here is an absolutely delightful and charming antique ruby and pearl locket that looks as good as a pendant from the front as it does with the ability to have a photo of a loved one worn close.

Made in 15ct rose gold, the colour alone of the rose gold is just so gorgeous and has that wonderful warm colour so desired by many.

15ct gold was used up until 1931 and this pendant cum locket dates from the late Victorian era of the 1890's.

On the front it is set with thirty five natural pearls and one facetted ruby in the centre. Both the pearls and the ruby really come together so well and of course making the heart shape goes that extra step further in making this antique locket even more special and charming.

Measuring 13.1mm wide by 13.9mm high or 19mm to the top of the bail where the chain will slide through, this is the perfect size to wear all the time.
