Here are a very beautiful pair of antique sapphire and diamond cluster earrings that date from the Victorian period of the 1890's that look as elegant and beautiful today as when they were made all those years ago.
Beautifully hand made in 18ct yellow gold, in the centre of each earring is a very fine quality Ceylonese sapphire that has a lovely blue colour which is of course highlighted by being surrounded by diamonds.
The diamonds are the lovely European cut diamonds and they all have such a wonderful sparkle and brilliance to them and the sapphires total 0.56 carats in weight and the diamonds total 0.72 carats.
Fitted on lever back fittings which are very secure, the clusters measure 9.8mm across by 11.4mm or 16.5mm to the top of the fittings and these earrings sit beautifully under the lobe.
Destined to always be loved and admired, these antique sapphire and diamond earrings are so elegant and refined.
