Antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring made in 1909

Here is a perfect antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring made in 1909 that looks as elegant today as when it was made over 100 years ago. With all the charm of a bygone era, the ring was made in 18ct yellow gold and set with three lovely natural Ceylonese sapphires and four diamonds. Whereas a modern sapphire and diamond engagement ring would have just the one diamond set on each side of the centre sapphire, this one has two each side giving it such a lovely style.
The centre sapphire measures 1.10 carats and is perfectly matched in colour to the other two which total 1.40 carats. All three sapphires have such a lovely blue colour to them and perfect transparency allowing you to see right through the sapphire. The diamonds total 0.12 carats and add the right amount of sparkle and from one side across to the other, this distance measures 18.3mm.
Perfect as an engagement ring or any other finger and occasion, this antique sapphire and diamond ring is just so elegant.
