Antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring made in the 1890's

There is something so special and unique about wearing a genuine antique engagement ring on your finger, and here is a spectacular example of a genuine antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring that was made in the late Victorian era of the 1890's.

Beautifully hand made in 18 carat yellow gold, the ring is set with three lovely natural sapphires that total 1.53 carats and are all perfectly matched in colour. All with a wonderful clarity that allows the light to enter and dance throughout the stones, they are highlighted by not just one but two European cut diamonds on each side of the centre sapphire.

These diamonds come together to total 0.12 carats and add the right mount of sparkle to the ring adding to the charm and character of the ring. And then to compliment the ring even further, there is the most incredible scroll work on the sides which is just so incredible to admire and shows how much care and quality went into making this ring all those years ago.

Sitting perfectly on the finger, it measures 5.9mm wide at the centre by 16.2mm across and will easily accommodate a wedding band worn along side.

As beautiful today as when it was made 130 years ago, this ring will always be admired, cherished and most importantly, loved.
