Perfect as an engagement ring of any other finger for any occasion, this antique sapphire and diamond ring was made in the Edwardian era of the early 1900's and looks as elegant today as when it was made well over 100 years ago.
Made in 18ct yellow gold in Birmingham in 1902, this ring is set with three lovely sapphires that total 0.58 carats and set on each side of the centre sapphire is a lovely European cut diamond with both diamonds having a total weight of 0.42 carats.
This is such a wonderful and traditional combination, and a style that is still seen today, however there is nothing quite like a genuine antique ring and one that is hand made making it stronger and more durable than many modern cast made rings today.
The sapphires and diamonds are all claw set with the claws themselves being integral to not only the setting of the stones but also the design of the ring as a whole, and from one end across to the other, this distance measures 16.5mm by 5.7mm wide at the centre sapphire.
With the hallmarks still in wonderful condition and so easy to read, this is a wonderful and very elegant antique sapphire and diamond ring that will always be loved and treasured.
