Perfect for day or night thanks to its design and the way the stones are set, this antique sapphire and diamond ring made in 1908 is so attractive and will always look so beautiful on any finger.
Made in the Edwardian period, the ring is set with two Ceylonese sapphires that are so well matched for colour and transparency and both have such a fantastic blue colour showing why Ceylonese sapphires have long been regarded as the best of the best. Set into the band, they total 0.44 carats and are highlighted with the diamond in the centre. The diamond measures 0.04 carats and adds the right amount of sparkle and like the sapphires it is set into the band.
It is this setting combined with the charming scroll work on the sides which really adds so much extra charm and character and shows why there is nothing quite like a genuine antique ring on your finger.
With a lovely dome to the top, at the centre of the ring it measures 7.5mm wide and tapers down at the back to an elegant 3mm wide.
No matter the occasion or time of day, this antique sapphire and diamond ring is just so charming and wonderful that it will always be admired and commented on.
