This antique sapphire and pearl ring will so easily suit any woman of any age and sits so well on the finger.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in the late Victorian era of the 1890's, in the centre is a lovely natural sapphire that measures 0.18 carats and is gypsy set which is a term given when there is a star pattern surrounding the stone which was created by the jeweller pushing into the gold resulting in not only a star pattern but also a bead to add to the security of the stone.
Then there is the pearl that is set on each side which highlight both the blue of the sapphire and the yellow from the gold, and then if this wasn't enough, there is the attractive engraved shoulders that highlight the ring even further.
Measuring 4.8mm wide at the centre and tapering down to an elegant 2mm wide at the back, this is a perfect example of an antique ring that can so easily be worn by any woman of any age without breaking the bank and always looking so elegant.
