Sitting perfectly on the wrist, this antique sterling silver and gold bangle was made in 1883 and measures 19mm wide and is so comfortable to wear day or night.
In wonderful condition even well after 130 years since being made, this alone is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship of the jewellers of the Victorian period.
Made in sterling silver, the front section has a wonderful floral design that is highlighted with both rose and green gold. While rose gold is still around today, green gold was only really used in the later part of the 20th Century when this bangle was made. With a lovely soft green tone to it, in this bangle it is used perfectly to highlight the leaves, and the rose gold to highlight the flowers.
This makes a wonderful feature and is sure to always be such a superb talking point. Being hinged will allow this bangle to sit nice and close to the wrist and will always be admired no matter where or when it is worn.
