Nothing is more personal that a locket around your neck with photos of those dear to you inside, and here is a lovely antique sterling silver and rose gold locket made in 1883.
Made in the Victorian era over 130 years ago, this locket was made in sterling silver with a gorgeous ribbon design on the front which has been hand engraved. And to emphasise the ribbon, it is highlighted with rose gold. This use of rose gold looks so beautiful and and contrasts so well against the high polish of the silver.
Able to hold two photos inside, the locket measures 38.8mm across by 49.5mm or 65mm to the top of the bail.
Antique lockets are so unique and special, and this one in both rose gold and silver is just glorious.
