Antique sterling silver hinged bangle made in 1883

Antique bangles from the 1880’s and 1890’s such as this one here are so versatile to wear day or night and are so easily able to be worn with other antique jewellery just as much as modern jewellery and always look perfect.

This antique bangle was made in Birmingham in 1883 and measures 18.4mm wide and the front has the most beautiful floral hand engraving across its entirety. The quality that is seen in hand engraving such as in this bangle shows such a higher skill and quality as opposed to one that is machine engraved or simply stamped out with a pattern.

Sitting lovely and close to the wrist, this antique bangle not only looks fabulous nearly 140 years after being made, but is also still in wonderful condition.
