Antique sterling silver locket highlighted with rose and yellow gold

This antique double sided photo locket was made in 1883 and not only has such a beautiful design of flowers around the edge, but the inner section on the front has another floral design highlighted with rose and yellow gold making this so beautiful to admire. The detail is so charming and with the rose and yellow gold, this really highlights the floral design so well.

Measuring 35.4mm across by 44.9mm or 61.9mm to the top of the bail, the size is just as lovely and this will look so beautiful when worn day or night and will easily suit being work with a multitude of different styles of chains.

On the back it was hand engraved with the initial “LDJ” and if this locket could talk, what a wonderful history it no doubt has had.

With a design that will always be admired, this is a wonderful antique locket to be loved forever.
