Made in 15ct gold, this carat of gold was used up until 1931 and this necklace itself was made in the late Victorian era and has many Art Nouveau influences to it.
The necklace is set with a total of 7 perfectly matched pieces of tourmaline that has a total weight of 6.65 carats.
To highlight the necklace, it is set with 39 seed pearls that adds an elegant and sophisticated look and charm to the necklace.
However like many antique pieces it is also the design of this necklace that is so attractive and makes it sit so well on the neckline.
Laid out from end to end this measured 41cm in length and and from where the chain connects to the pearls across to the other side, this distance measures 8cm and from top to bottom it measures 4.6cm making this stand out so well on the neckline day or night.
