Antique triple spinner made in the late 19th Century

Swivels or spinners as they are also known as, were originally worn by men on the end of an Albert chain, but today these antique spinners are often worn by women as a pendant, and here is a wonderful and very unique triple sided antique spinner dating from the 1890’s.

Made in 9 carat gold, the spinner is set with bloodstone, carnelian and white chalcedony which are all from the cryptocrystalline quartz family making them very durable and therefore even after all these years, they are all n wonderful condition.

Measuring 16.5mm across by 25.4mm to the top of the bail, no matter which side is showing there is no doubt that it will always be loved and admired.
