From every angle the detail in this Art Deco diamond engagement ring is just amazing and will always be loved and admired on the finger.
The Art Deco period of the 1920's to the 1940's resulted in some truly exceptional jewellery being made, and this ring certainly showcases this. Hand made in 18 carat gold and platinum, this was a popular combination during this period, with platinum having the distinct advantage over gold as it has the ability to be drawn into a very fine wire to allow all the detail that can be seen in this ring, while still keeping the strength to support the diamond and the setting as a whole.
The scroll work from all sides is just so captivating and leads up to a lovely 0.32 carat diamond that is F in colour and VS in clarity.
Measuring 14.4mm from where the platinum starts on one side across to the other, by 6.1mm wide at the centre, this is certainly a very attractive and perfect example of an engagement ring from the Art Deco era.
