Art Deco diamond engagement ring dating from the 1930’s

$0.00

Here is a perfect example of a genuine Art Deco diamond engagement ring dating from the 1930’s that looks as beautiful today as when it was made during that wonderful era.

Art Deco jewellery of the 1920’s to the 1940’s has remained popular in the decades since thanks in part to the wonderful and incredibly elegant designs such as can be seen here in this engagement ring.

Hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, sitting proudly in the centre is a lovely round early brilliant cut diamond that measures 0.40 carats. With a lovely setting that raises it up ever so slightly to sit proud on the finger on each side are three single cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.08 carats and highlight the ring so elegantly.

All the diamonds are set into platinum which was often used and seen in Art Deco jewellery as it is the purest of all the precious metals used in jewellery making and can be drawn into a fine wire all the while retaining the strength to support the ring and the diamonds. Measuring 5.1mm wide at the centre by 17.3mm across from one end diamond to the other, this is a perfect Art Deco diamond engagement ring that will always be loved and admired.
