Exemplifying Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's, comes this elegant Art Deco diamond engagement ring in 18ct gold and platinum that looks perfect on the finger.
So beautifully hand made, many pieces of Art Deco jewellery incorporates a "shape in a shape" aspect which can be seen here in this ring. Although the setting for the three main diamonds is in a 6-sided hexagonal shape, the diamonds set in are actually round European cut diamonds. With a wonderful sparkle to them all ,they total 0.92 carats and re F to G in colour and VS in clarity. The diamonds are set into platinum which is such a wonderful strong material that was often used during this era.
Then to highlight the ring even more there are three smaller European cut diamonds set on each shoulder with a total weight of 0.08 carats that leads to the elegant yellow gold band.
Measuring5.9mm wide at the centre by 15.2mm across, this engagement ring will sit perfectly alongside a wedding band and there is little doubt that it will always be loved and admired.
