French Art Deco jewellery of the 1920's has quite simply never gone out of fashion and here is a magnificent example of why this is so.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum in the 1920's, this ring is set with a total of 17 diamonds in the most elegant design.
The diamonds have all been set into platinum in the most elegant open pierce work design. In total there are 14 rose cut diamonds that total 0.36 carats with two European cut diamonds on each side with one more in the centre. The two side diamonds total 0.20 carats and the one in the centre 0.28 carats, bringing the total diamond weight to 0.84 carats.
It is not just the sparkle from the diamonds that makes this ring it is also the fine attention to detail from the milgrain setting around the diamonds which is the crimping along the setting, but also looking under the ring shows the most wonderful engraving.
From left to right the ring measures 12.7mm across by 21.7mm in length.
This Art Deco diamond ring is so typical of the quality from France and is just spectacular.
