This is an Art Deco era ring that is breathtaking in its design and quality.
Hand made in platinum, the ring is typical of the 1920's era with such a stunning angular design and the fine work that can only be achieved from hand making a ring in platinum.
Platinum has the distinct advantage of being able to be drawn into a fine wire and still be able to retain all of its strength.
The ring is set with the central diamond which measures 0.65 carats which is H in colour and VS in clarity and has a magnificent sparkle to it.
Making this Art Deco ring even more dazzling, it is then set with 26 more diamonds and 4 vibrant green natural emeralds.
These other diamonds total 0.30 carats in weight and the emeralds 0.08 carats.
When looking closely at the setting you will note the milgrain edge along the setting of the diamonds and emeralds. This milgrain setting can be seen as the fine crimping along the edge of the setting which was very typical in jewellery made in the 1920's.
From left to right, the rectangular section of the ring measures 12mm across by 24.5mm and has a very subtle curve to it allowing to wrap elegantly over the finger.Â
Even the side of the ring and down the band have elegantly hand engraved which just shows the quality that this ring was made to.
This is a spectacular example of a 1920's Art Deco ring that is sure to dazzle and impress all who see.
