The Rolex Prima movement was introduced in the 1920's as a high grade movement in their wrist watches with adjustments to temperature and positions and here we have a stunning Art Deco era ladies Rolex Prima watch set with diamonds.
Made in 1926, this Art Deco Rolex watch was made in a 18ct white gold tonneau shaped case.
A tonneau shaped watch case is one that is rectangle but with flared sides which was a typical look of many Art Deco watches and looks so elegant and refined on the wrist.
Of course highlighting the watch case are the 34 diamonds around the edge which add the right amount of sparkle all the while retaining the elegance and class that was the 1920's Art Deco period.
Even the dial is wonderful and so easy to read after all these years.
The watch case measures 16.1mm across at the centre plus the crown by 24.7mm in length and is the perfect size to wear all the time.
Fitted on a stainless steel band, even these Art Deco era bands are so practical and easy to wear as they are easily adjustable in size be extending or contracting the extension bar.
Inside is of course the fabulous and highly regarded 15 jewelled manual wind Rolex Prima movement that has just undergone a full service, runs perfect and still comes with our 12 month warranty.
This is such a fabulous Art Deco diamond Rolex watch that looks magnificent from the outside and has such a superb movement within.

Kalmar Antiques now employ a Rolex trained watchmaker on site!
When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in a full watchmaking and polishing workshop. We also employ two watchmakers, and one who used to work for Rolex for nearly seven years. This allows us to be able to service your Rolex to Rolex standards, as well as other watch brands such as Omega, Cartier and Patek Philippe to name a few.
Kalmar Antiques are a fully authorised OMEGA watch service centre allowing us to service your Omega watch on-site.
We recommend to service your Rolex every five years. If you wear the watch in water, we strongly suggest having your Rolex watch, or any watch for that matter, pressure tested once a year.
