Colombia has been known for centuries as the country where the finest emeralds come from, and here is a spectacular Art Deco emerald and diamond ring set with an incredible Colombian emerald.
So beautifully hand made in 18ct white gold, this Art Deco ring dates from the 1920's and is all centered around that spectacular emerald which weighs an impressive 6.75 carats in weight. When you look at the perfect green colour and see how transparent it is, it will become evident why Colombian emeralds are so highly prized.
The colour from this emerald is just incredible and is certainly complimented by the border of diamonds. In total there are twenty diamonds with four of those diamonds being larger on each corner. The total diamond weight is 0.72 carats and add the right amount of sparkle to an already very impressive Art Deco ring.
Measuring 17mm from left to right by 17.5mm wide, this ring certainly makes an impact on the finger and then this top leads down to the engraved band.
Even from the sides and turning the ring over and looking underneath shows how much detail and quality went into making this ring all those years ago.
There is no doubt that Art Deco rings are as popular today as when they were made, and this emerald and diamond ring is quite simply spectacular.
