Art Deco emerald and diamond ring made in France in the 1920’s

$0.00

Here is a spectacular Art Deco emerald and diamond ring made in France in the 1920’s that sits so well on the finger and will no doubt be admired from across the room by all who see it.

So beautifully hand made entirely in platinum, in the centre sits a magnificent Colombian emerald that measures 1.80 carats. This emerald shows why Colombia has long been regarded as the country where the best emeralds come from, as this emerald has such a beautiful intense green combined with excellent transparency allowing you to see right through the emerald itself.

Then surrounding the emerald are four larger early brilliant cut diamonds and eight smaller early brilliant cut diamonds. The way the cluster has been broken up with the four larger diamonds adds that extra element of difference to a normal cluster ring, and then the setting of both the emerald and the diamonds are all millgrain set. This setting can be seen as the crimping along the edge of the setting which was often used during the Art Deco period. With the diamonds having a total weight of 1.40 carats, and combined with the exceptional colour emanating from the emerald, there is no doubt that this ring will always be admired day or night.

Measuring 16.7mm by 15.3mm across, this ring certainly makes an impact on the hand and highlights the superb quality of the emerald, diamonds and craftsmanship alike.
