Black and white always looks so good together and no where more than in an Art Deco ring such as this one here.
Made in the 1930's, this ring is typical of Art Deco jewellery at the time with black onyx and white gold. The 14ct white gold setting itself is so attractive from the top and even the sides where there is a lovely floral design as well as split designed shoulders that are engraved to highlight the detail.
Then the black onyx itself has not been forgotten as it is not just a simple rectangle piece, rather it is engraved along the edges to add even more charm and character to an already very beautiful ring.
In the centre is a 0.04 carat diamond that set into a lozenge shape really just adds the right amount of sparkle to it without making it too over the top. The rectangle section of the ring measures 9.8mm wide by 19mm in length making it very attractive day or night.
Onyx and diamond rings from the Art Deco era are always so sought after and seeing this on your finger it is so easy to see why.
