This is such an incredibly elegant example of an Art Deco emerald and diamond ring that was hand made in the 1920's and will look superb on any finger including a wonderful engagement ring.
Set with a vibrant natural Colombian emerald that measures 0.60 carats, it has such a fine green colour and transparency. When you see the colour and clarity of this emerald, you will see why Colombian emeralds have long been regarded as the best in the world.
Then surrounding the emerald is a row of 18 diamonds, however they are set with a separation from the emerald setting which looks even better on the finger. Both the emerald and the diamonds are milgrain set which can be seen as the elegant crimping along the setting which is often seen in Art Deco jewellery.
The top of the ring measures 25.8mm by 25.8mm and would suit any finger including being worn every day as an engagement ring and then leading to the band it is set with one more diamond on each side. The total weight of the diamonds is 0.20 carats and they really highlight not only the emerald but this ring as a whole.
Platinum is such a wonderful precious metal that was embraced by many jewellers during the Art Deco period, and this can be seen with the triple band and the delightful work from under the ring as well.
From the natural Colombian emerald to the design, this is one Art Deco cluster ring that is fabulous from all angles.
