Jewellers of the Art Deco period of the 1920's to the 1940's embraced platinum due to its pure white colour that never tarnishes and its amazing ability to be drawn into a fine wire, all the while being strong enough to support the gemstones set into it.

In the circular wreath pattern there are twenty four diamonds plus another set on top of the sapphire in the centre, and ingeniously the diamonds set into the "petals" are rose cut diamonds and the one surrounded by a cluster of pearls plus the one above the sapphire are single cut diamonds. With a further single cut diamond set above the lower sapphire, these diamonds come together to total 0.50 carats.

Leading from the circular section on a elegant double row, the platinum chain is set with sweet natural pearls leading to the sapphire that allows the 38cm platinum chain to run through. All three sapphires come together to total 1.20 carats and are all perfectly matched for colour and really stand out so beautifully against the pure white of the platinum.

So elegant and refined, this is a spectacular pendant that will no doubt always be loved, cherished and admired.
