1920's Art Deco jewellery is just gorgeous and here is a magnificent Art Deco jade and diamond ring that is so elegant.
Exquisitely hand made in platinum, the use of platinum was often used during the 1920's as the jeweller was able to draw the platinum into a fine wire and create spectacular designs and still be strong enough to support not just the ring but the gemstones used.
And in this ring is a magnificent oval apple green colour natural jade that measures 2.60 carats in weight and has such a fine green colour to it. This jade has been certified as Type A jade. This means that this jade has not undergone any treatments at all.
Then surrounding the jade are 12 diamonds however unlike a modern jade and diamond ring where the diamonds are simply set around the jade, here the jewellery has masterfully created such an elegant design that itself is breathtaking. This oval section of the ring measures 21.2mm by 12.6mm and really accentuates the finger.
And then on each band is a further diamond giving this ring a total diamond weight of 0.16 carats. Looking further at the band shows that the band itself was beautifully hand engraved that shows the quality and time and attention that went into making this ring.
There is nothing quite like an Art Deco ring, and this jade and diamond ring here is a spectacular example of an Art Deco ring at its finest.
