Art Deco niello silver pocket watch made in the 1920’s

Niello is a unique technique that involved designing a pattern into the metal then firing an alloy of sulfur with copper, silver and lead, and once polished back reveals the engraved sections in wonderful detail as can be seen here in this Art Deco niello silver pocket watch made in the 1920’s.

Both the front and back as well as the edge of the pocket watch and even the bow has the most wonderful design and with the niello finish, this also gives it a brilliant tactile and smooth feel to the touch.

Measuring 51.2mm across by 68.2mm to the top of the bow, this full size gents pocket watch feels so good in the palm of the hand.

Opening the front reveals the pristine white dial with numerals and the sub-seconds at the bottom. The font of the numerals is wonderful as can easily be seen and this is so easy to read day or night.

Inside is a wonderful Swiss made movement that has been completely serviced and comes with our twelve month warranty.

If you have been after a special and unique pocket watch for yourself or that hard-to-buy for person, then this might just be the one.
