Black onyx and diamonds set into white gold is such a winning combination thanks to the contrasting colours and was embraced by many jewellers of the 1920's to 1940's Art Deco period.
Here this Art Deco onyx and diamond ring was hand made in 18ct white gold in the 1920's and is set with a cluster of European cut diamonds with one diamond being surrounded by a further 7.
These seven diamonds total 0.21 carats and really sparkle wonderfully,
This makes such a nice feature in the ring, then the jeweller has wonderfully embraced and used the claw setting to not only securely hold the onyx in place but to make it a feature of the ring that being in white gold looks great set onto the black onyx.
With the claws, the top section measures 10.6mm from left to right by 15.7mm in length and sits so well on any finger.
Even the white gold band is so sleek and elegant and compliments the top of the ring so well.
Art Deco onyx and diamond rings are always so popular and sought after by woman of any age and this Art Deco onyx and diamond ring would suit any woman of any age and is so easy to wear on any finger day or night and always be admired.
