Art Deco opal and diamond cluster ring made in France

Here is a very elegant opal and diamond cluster ring dating from the Art Deco period of the 1930's that is so elegant and sits so well on the finger.
 Hand made in France in the 1930's, the ring is set with a solid Australian opal and surrounded by 28 diamonds. 
 Typical of this period, the opal and diamond are milgrain set which is the fine crimping along the edge of the setting and really adds that charm of the Art Deco period.

 The setting itself measures 11.3mm from left to right by 13.2mm and this ring sits so well on the finger.
