Opening this box reveals the most gorgeous pen set from the Art Deco era of the 1930’s and has such a refined and elegant charm to it made all the more wonderful when you see it either in or out of its original fitted box.
This exquisite set includes a retractile pencil, fountain pen, seal and inkwell. The nib for the fountain pen was made in 14ct gold plated by the British company William Mitchell, and all the other sections of the set – the pencil, the calligraphy pen, the inkwell and the seal are all made in 900 grade silver that has been gilded the most beautiful colour. All of the pieces are set with pearls and blue paste stones in a gorgeous star pattern.
The pencil measures 15.4cm in length, the calligraphy pen 16cm, the seal 6.6cmtall and the gorgeous inkwell a mere 3cm tall with the lid closed. The top of the seal does have a small dent, however this does not take away from the beauty of the set as a whole.
Such a gorgeous set like this takes you back to a time gone by and this is without a doubt the most charming pen set that we have ever had.
