Now this is a stunning Art Deco ruby and diamond ring like no other and one that truly stands out and makes a proud statement on the finger.
Hand made in platinum in the 1920's, the attention to detail and intricacy is simply astonishing and a real testament to the jewellers of this wonderful period and what they could achieve and is why Art Deco rings have remained popular to this day.
Set with a central diamond that is milgrain set with that fine crimping and detail reminiscent of this era, it is set with 5 "swirls" of rubies and diamonds.
Besides the centre diamond there are a further 40 diamonds and 2 more on each band. The centre diamond measures 0.56 carats and the other 44 diamonds total 0.89 carats and give this ring a spectacular sparkle.
Highlighting all of the diamonds and complimenting the platinum perfectly are the 41 rubies that complete the design of this ring so perfectly.
The rubies total 0.62 carats and are such a fine red that stands out so well.
Platinum is such a wonderful metal that can be drawn into a fine wire that was the metal of choice of jewellers of this era.
The ring measures 1.7cm wide and will most certainly be admired from near or far and is one of the finest Art Deco ruby and diamond rings that you could hope to find.
