Art Deco jewellery always had such class and sophistication to it, and here are an amazing pair of Art Deco era sapphire and diamond cufflinks.
Dating from the 1920's, these cufflinks were hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum and each cufflink set with a thirteen sapphires and four blue sapphires.
Each cufflink has twelve lovely rose cut diamonds and then a European cut diamond in the centre and then four sapphires that works so well with the diamonds as well as the platinum and gold.
The diamonds total 0.26 carats and the sapphires 0.40 carats and along the setting of the sapphires and diamonds as well as around the edge of the cufflinks, they have been milgrain finished which is the crimping along the setting which was popular in many Art Deco pieces of jewellery.
Each cufflink measures 15.8mm by 11.4mm and are fitted on torpedo shaped fittings that slide so easily into a French cuff and are also very secure.
These Art Deco sapphire and diamond cufflinks are so elegant and unlike so many other cufflinks around.
