These are a superb pair of Art Deco era sapphire and diamond earrings made in the most wonderful geometric design.
Made in platinum in the 1920's, these circular earrings each measures 12.4mm in diameter and look stunning on the ear.
Fitted with butterfly fittings on screw hooks for added safety these are so easy to put on and wear and will always be admired and commented on.
In each earring there are 11 diamonds and 12 sapphires and the total weight from both earrings is 0.76 carats for the diamonds and 1.00 carat for the sapphires and all the gemstones are milgrain set with that delightful crimping effect along the edge of the setting which is so typical of the Art Deco jewellery.
These Art Deco sapphire and diamond earrings are spectacular right down to the fine engraving around the edge and this will most certainly make the right impression especially at a formal evening occasion.
