From all angles, this incredible Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring is so captivating and full on detail.
Dating from the 1920's, this ring exemplifies everything about the Art Deco period from exquisite styling, sparkle from the diamonds and being made in platinum.
Only hand making this ring in platinum could all of this fine detail be achieved as platinum has the wonderful ability to be drawn into a fine wire and worked in the way that can be seen in this ring yet still be strong enough to support the sapphires and diamonds and the ring as a whole.
There are two main early brilliant cut diamonds that total 1.08 carats and have a wonderful sparkle to them that are highlighted by twenty two more diamonds that total 0.52 carats.
And then there are the ten sapphires that highlight both the diamonds and the design of the ring so well and really stand out so beautifully against the pure white of the platinum. These sapphires total 0.24 carats and both the sapphires and the diamonds are millgrain set which is the elegant crimping along the edge of the setting.
Measuring 18.9mm by 15mm wide it also measures 7.1mm high and sits so well on the finger and really stands out so elegantly.
When you view the other images of this ring you will see so much detail including the hand engraving and the beautiful design of the ring no matter what side of the ring you are looking at.
This is such a fabulous example of a fine quality Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring that will always be admired for its beauty and elegance.
