Here is a magnificent and so elegant hand made sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco period of the 1920's.
Made in 18ct white gold and platinum, the Art Deco rings of this era are so attractive and easy to wear for any occasion, and a ring like this would make a fantastic engagement ring.
The Art Deco era is easy to identify by the use of wonderful angular designs and use of various shapes.
Here in this Art Deco ring, there are 2 rows of 6 round rose cut diamonds set in a rectangular setting, and then the 7 sapphires that instead of being again round, are square cuts, making this such a wonderful ring to admire.
On the side is that elegant scroll work, and this sapphire and diamond ring is very easy to wear all the time thanks to the fact that it sits so close to the finger without sitting up high.
The top of the ring measures 8.5mm across by 1.5mm wide and is a great example of an Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
