Hand made in 9ct gold around 1895, this delightful Art Nouveau necklace is set with 5 amethysts and highlighted with 10 very sweet seed pearls.
The design is very typical of the work being made by jewellers of the Art Nouveau era, and has a wonderful flowing design leading down to the two amethysts at the bottom of different lengths.
Laid out flat this necklace measures 40cm from end to end, and from one amethyst to the other 6.2cm across and this necklace sits so well on the neckline.
The style of this Art Nouveau necklace is so wonderful and flowing in it design and is practical to wear all the time and dress up for those special occasions.
