Art Nouveau bracelet by Mürrle Bennett and Co

Mürrle Bennett & Co are famous for producing fabulous Art Nouveau jewellery similar in designs to such names as Archibald Knox and Liberty and Co.
Founded in 1884 by Englishman Mr Bennett and German Mr Ernst Mürrle, they embraced many of the Art Nouveau styles coming from Germany at the time.

Art Nouveau jewellery is easily characterised by the flowing lines often inspired by nature as can be seen here in this bracelets centre links.
Made in 9ct rose gold, this Art Nouveau bracelet is made of traditional cub links that measure 6.5mm wide and in the centre those two delightful fancy rose gold links that are so typical of the Art Nouveau jewellery produced by Mürrle Bennett and Co at this time.
These two links measure 7.7mm wide and the bracelet sits so well on the wrist and the rose gold has such a lovely warm colour to it.

This antique bracelet has so much charm and character to it and is such an easy antique bracelet to wear all the time with the added history of coming from a factory that was famous for making some sensational Art Nouveau jewellery that is so characterised by this era.
