Here is a magnificent Art Nouveau pendant by Bippart, Griscom & Osborn that was made in the early 1900's and shows all the wonderful characteristics of the Art Nouveau period of this time.
Bippart, Griscom & Osborn was an American jewellery firm that was well known for the very high quality of jewellery that produced and here is an example of the quality of one of their pieces.
Hand made in 14ct gold this Art Nouveau pendant is finely set with diamonds and highlighted with pearls and exquisite enamel.
Jewellery from the Art Nouveau period of the late 1800's to the start of World War One was highly influenced by nature as can be seen in the very natural form of this pendant.
In total there are eighteen rose cut diamonds and three natural pearls all inspired around a floral design that is emphasised by the enamel.
From top to bottom, the pendant measures 45.1mm by 17.1mm wide at its widest part and really looks so elegant around the neck.
This is such a fine quality Art Nouveau enamel piece and one that will be treasured for a lifetime.
