Art Nouveau ring made in 1897
$0.00
This is such an attractive and very sweet antique ring from the Art Nouveau period that was made in 1897 and still looks fantastic even well after 100 years have passed.
Made in 18ct yellow gold, this ring is so typical of the Art Nouveau era by having a delightful and feminine floral design on each side of a diamond set heart.
Making this ring even more special is that the leaves are made in a very soft green gold and the flower in rose gold.
Green gold is no longer produced today however it was used during the Art Nouveau period and worked beautiful to highlight a piece of jewellery as can be seen here.
In the centre is of course that very romantic diamond set heart that is so wonderful and sweet to admire that works so well with the floral design on each side.
The ring measures 5.9mm wide and graduates down to 3.9mm and sits so well on the finger.
Art Nouveau jewellery has a look all unto itself, and this is a very wonderful example of a late 19th century Art Nouveau ring.
