Here one of the most magnificent Art Nouveau rings that we have ever seen.
Hand made in France around 1895, this ring is made in a style so typical of the Art Nouveau era of free flowing lines and taking much inspiration from nature as can be seen here with the leaf design.
It is set with a ruby, two pearls and even two green Tsavorite garnets, and the green garnets are highlighted in green gold which is no longer used today. Green gold was embraced by the jewellers of this era, and is used to highlight a piece such as the leaves in this ring and is such a beautiful soft green colour that works so well with the warm rose gold.
Art Nouveau jewellery of the late 19th Century to early 20th Century is so special and unique and is unlike any other style of jewellery before or after and this ring is simply amazing. From the colour of the 18ct rose gold, to the green gold and even the green garnets, this antique Art Nouveau ring will always be admired, appreciated and commented on and is truly a one of a kind antique ring.
