Austrian Art Deco emerald and diamond brooch

Here is an antique emerald and diamond brooch of unparalleled beauty in not only the quality of the emeralds which are highlighted beautifully by the diamonds but also the design and shape of the brooch as a whole.

Entirely hand made in Austria in the 1920's, this brooch was made in 14ct yellow gold in Austria in the former Austro-Hungarian region.
The brooch is set with a magnificent Colombian emerald in the centre that weighs 5.09 carats and is then surrounded by 12 old mine cut diamonds that total 2.51 carats.
Looking closely between each of these diamonds, you will see a further 12 rose cut diamonds to add to the elegance and sparkle of this brooch.
As though this wasn't enough, there is that gorgeous row of emeralds then a further row of diamonds and then a final row of emeralds to complete the picture.
The further 19 diamonds total an impressive 10.87 carats and the further 115 emeralds 4.14 carats.

This antique emerald and diamond brooch certainly sparkles and with this many emerald and diamonds it is so easy to see why.

The brooch itself measures 38mm by 38mm and is fitted with a pin that has a slide in locking system as well as a safety chain for added security and peace of mind.

On or off an outfit, this is truly one of the most exceptional antique brooches that you will ever find and be so proud to own and wear it.
