Beautiful antique 15 carat gold collar made in the 1880's

Collars as the name implies, sit around the neckline, and here is a truly exceptional antique collar that dates from the Victorian period of the 1880's and is truly exceptional and so beautiful to admire from near or far.

Made in 15 carat gold, the collar was so thought out when it was made by having the long links have a curve to them to allow it to sit perfectly around the neck and thanks to the rich colour from the gold, will make this piece stand out no matter where or when it is worn. The design of these links is just extraordinary and the detail is captivating and made all the more wonderful when you consider that it was made well over 140 years ago.

The long links are all connected by oval links that measure 14.8mm and from end to end the collar measures 40cm in length and has a very discreet clasp that closes into itself.

From near or far, there is no doubt that this is one of the most exceptional gold collars out there, and one that is a true treasure.
