The detail in this bangle is so beautiful to admire and will amaze so many when they discover that it was made well over 100 years ago, yet still looks as fashionable today as when it was made in the Victorian era.
Made in sterling silver in Birmingham in 1883, this incredible bangle measures 36.3mm wide across the top by 31.8mm wide at the back section without the ball details on the side. From the outside working in, both sides have the silver balls on the outside and then such an elegant design that leads towards the centre section that is once again highlighted by silver balls on both sides.
Then the centre strip has been so beautifully and expertly hand engraved showing just how much time and attention went into making this magnificent bangle during a bygone era.
Being oval and hinged will allow this to sit nice and close to the wrist and even though it is wide, it is so comfortable and easy to wear all the time.
This is a gorgeous example of an antique piece of jewellery that has not only lasted all these years, but looks as elegant today as when it was made.
